    Enhanced photovoltaic performance of CdS-sensitized inverted organic solar cells prepared via a successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction method

    One-dimensional ZnO nanorods (ZNRs) synthesized on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass by hydrothermal method were modified with cadmium sulfide quantum dots (CdS QDs) as an electron transport layer (ETL) in order to enhance the photovoltaic performance of inverted organic solar cell (IOSC). In present study, CdS QDs were deposited on ZNRs using a Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction method (SILAR) method. In typical procedures, IOSCs were fabricated by spin-coating the P3HT:PC61BM photoactive layer onto the as-prepared ZNRs/CdS QDs. The results of current-voltage (I-V) measurement under illumination shows that the FTO/ZNRs/CdS QDs/ P3HT:PC61BM/ PEDOT: PSS/Ag IOSC achieved a higher power conversion efficiency (4.06 %) in comparison to FTO/ZNRs/P3HT:PC61BM/PEDOT: PSS/Ag (3.6 %). Our findings suggest that the improved open circuit voltage (Voc) and short circuit current density (Jsc) of ZNRs/CdS QDs devices could be attributed to enhanced electron selectivity and reduced interfacial charge carrier recombination between ZNRs and P3HT:PC61BM after the deposition of CdS QDs. The CdS QDs sensitized ZNRs reported herein exhibit great potential for advanced optoelectronic application

    NeBula: Team CoSTAR's robotic autonomy solution that won phase II of DARPA Subterranean Challenge

    This paper presents and discusses algorithms, hardware, and software architecture developed by the TEAM CoSTAR (Collaborative SubTerranean Autonomous Robots), competing in the DARPA Subterranean Challenge. Specifically, it presents the techniques utilized within the Tunnel (2019) and Urban (2020) competitions, where CoSTAR achieved second and first place, respectively. We also discuss CoSTAR¿s demonstrations in Martian-analog surface and subsurface (lava tubes) exploration. The paper introduces our autonomy solution, referred to as NeBula (Networked Belief-aware Perceptual Autonomy). NeBula is an uncertainty-aware framework that aims at enabling resilient and modular autonomy solutions by performing reasoning and decision making in the belief space (space of probability distributions over the robot and world states). We discuss various components of the NeBula framework, including (i) geometric and semantic environment mapping, (ii) a multi-modal positioning system, (iii) traversability analysis and local planning, (iv) global motion planning and exploration behavior, (v) risk-aware mission planning, (vi) networking and decentralized reasoning, and (vii) learning-enabled adaptation. We discuss the performance of NeBula on several robot types (e.g., wheeled, legged, flying), in various environments. RD51/CERN have worked on Active Voltage Divider (AVD) technology for multistage MPGDs, One of the next developments for the AVD is to design and integrate high voltage module in a single box. The Program-Controlled High Voltage Module, part of one AIDA2020 project, has been successfully designed and developed, and can be integrated in AVD design

    Media baru merupakan media berbasis internet, dengan menggunakan teknologi. Salah satu yang menjadi perkembangan dari internet adalah media sosial. Saat ini, kita berada di era saturasi media yakni era dimana keberadaan informasi sangat banyak atau kita tengah mengalami kebanjiran informasi karena kehadiran media sosial. Literasi media sebagai suatu kemampuan yang penting agar kesadaran tentang konten dan dampak media serta individu memiliki kontrol dalam menggunakan media sehingga pemilihan konten media dapat sesuai kepentingan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan Literasi media pada mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi dalam menggunakan media sosial facebook. Keberadaan literasi media sangat dibutuhkan untuk membuat mahasiswa menjadi lebih cerdas lagi di dalam menerima dan membuat informasi di  tengah era saturasi media ini. Teori yang digunakan literasi media, framework new media literacy, dan media baru. Metode penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi 1887 dan sampel 95 mahasiswa serta menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator functional consuming facebook dikategorikan sangat mampu, critical consuming facebook dikategorikan mampu, functional prosuming facebook dikategorikan mampu, dan kategori critical prosuming facebook dikategorikan mampu.Abstract  New media is internet-based media, using technology. One of the developments of the internet is social media. At present, we are in the era of media saturation, which is an era where there is so much information or we are experiencing a flood of information due to the presence of social media. Media literacy as an important ability so that awareness about the content and impact of the media and individuals have control in using the media so that the selection of media content can be of interest. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of media literacy in Communication Science students in using social media Facebook. The existence of media literacy is needed to make students smarter in receiving and making information in this media saturation eraThe theory used media literacy, framework new media literacy, and new media. This research method is descriptive quantitative with total population 1887 and sample 95 students by using purposive sampling technique.     Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi kepribadian, manajerial, dan sosiall terhadap peningkatan kompetensi kepala sekolah SMP di Serdang Bedagai dengan pelatihan sebagai variable moderating. Penelitian penguatan kompetensi ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data SmartPLS. Responden penelitian ini merupakan Kepala Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri yang ada di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai sebanyak 40 orang. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan menunjukkan bahwa, Tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepribadian terhadap pelatihan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil t-statisik yang didapat yaitu 0,350 1,68 dan hasil pvalues 0,727 0,05. Tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepribadian terhadap peningkatan kompetensi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil t-statisik yang didapat yaitu 0.,8841,65 dan hasil pvalues 0,3770,05. Tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan manajerial terhadap pelatihan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil t-statisik yang didapat yaitu 0,2951,65 dan hasil pvalues 0,7680,05. Tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan manajerial terhadap peningkatan kompetensi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil t-statisik yang didapat yaitu 0,7821,65 dan hasil pvalues 0,4340,05. Terdapat pengaruh signifikan pelatihan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil t-statisik yang didapat yaitu 41,2981,65 dan hasil pvalues 0,0000,05. Terdapat pengaruh signifikan sosial terhadap pelatihan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil t-statisik yang didapat yaitu 51,5081,65 dan hasil pvalues 0,0000,05. Terdapat pengaruh signifikan sosial terhadap peningkatan kompetensi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil t-statisik yang didapat yaitu 96,5121,65 dan hasil pvalues 0,0000,05.Kata kunci: Kepribadian, Manajerial, Sosial, Peningkatan Kompetens
